I’m teaching a spoken word unit in January!

and it’s going to be the bomb.

I’m planning on using a bunch of Andrea Gibson, Sarah Kay, Rachel McKibbens and a Daniel Beaty piece.  Does anyone have any other suggestions of artists/pieces that would be killer in an English 12 classroom?
